Scandoo is one of the newest search engines. Actually, you can choose to search in Google, Yahoo, or MSN. The unique feature of Scandoo is that as you do your search, it checks each Web site in the rankings to see if there is a virus, spyware, or other malicious aspect to the sites.

CNN Story On Hardball Auto Insurance Tactics

The National Senior Citizens Law Center advocates nationwide to promote the independence and well-being of low-income elderly individuals and persons with disabilities.

NSCLC advocates through litigation, legislative and agency representation and assistance to attorneys and paralegals in field programs. NSCLC's functions vary with the needs of clients.

"Deny, Delay, Defend" -- Important Story On CNN Tonight

Monday night February 26, 2007, at 9:00 p.m., CNN will rebroadcast on Anderson Cooper 360 the results of the 18 month investigation into the insurance industry's hardball tactics regarding claims made on auto collisions.

Geographic Names Information System (GNIS)

The U. S. Board on Geographic Names has an interesting service called Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) where you can search for any geographic "feature" such as a city, lake, park, etc. Then you get a variety of geographic information about that "feature" along with the ability to view it in Google Maps.

Link of the Day - Free And Low-Cost Prescription Drugs

Many of our personal injury clients and Social Security disability claimants have trouble affording the many prescription drugs they need to take. A group called The Institute has published a free book listing medications, along with a phone number for each drug. You can call and find out if you qualify for a free or low-cost drug program offered by the manufacturer of the medication. The book is available online here. Program qualification varies between manufacturers, usually family incomes ranging from below the national poverty level up to $65,000.00 annually can qualify.

Decisions concerning which medications are provided and which individuals are accepted into the programs are made by the various program sponsors.
