Friday Fun
I'm awful at geography, but even I can do pretty good on this geography puzzle. All you have to do is place the 50 U.S. states on a map. The game calculates your average error in miles, and tells you how long it takes you to finish.

Are you having a really bad day at the office? Do you feel like freaking out and trashing your cubicle? The good news is that you don't have to do that in reality — you can do it virtually, at CubicleFreakout.
MindHabits is not just a game — it's a productivity tool, stress reducer, and confidence booster. Here's the description from the Web site:
MindHabits is based on new scientifically tested tools published in a journal of the American Psychological Association that help players reduce stress and boost self confidence and esteem using principles from social intelligence research.
The games are as simple as finding a smiling face in a crowd of frowns - yet they are powerful repetitive training exercises demonstrated to refocus the way your mind perceives the world. Research has demonstrated benefits from playing just five minutes a day. Give it a try and see if it works for you!
It's hard to avoid politics in an election year, and not much about politics these days is fun. But a new Web site, SexyPolitics.com, certainly fills a unique niche. It's really an educational site, with various political quizzes to test your knowledge. The fun part is that you can choose to have an online cutie, male or female, do a "strip" for you as you get answers correct. The stripteases are really G-rated, but they're clever and fun. Check it out.
Here's a game that's right from the headlines — try to snuff out the Olympic Torch to show your solidarity with Tibetan protesters!
Do you like computer games where you have no chance of winning? How about quizzes that make you feel stupid? You like both those things? Then you'll just love The Impossible Quiz 2!
This Shift game has great potential, but I'm awful at it. Someone do well, and tell me how you did it.
How could you NOT love a game named Shuffle Snake Bites?
If you enjoyed those terrible 1970's photos from Olan Mills in an earlier post, you'll love the pages from a 1977 J.C. Penney catalog. Thanks to my friend Mark Merenda for this link
This isn't really a normal Friday Fun post. It's just interesting and thought-provoking. Thanks to my friend Matt Homann for pointing it out. The idea is to write a memoir in just six words. My first thought: "Loved his family, helped his clients."
Check out the video.
